Betty H Fairfax junior Ma'Kayla Dickerson set the all-time state record by clocking 41.72 seconds in the Division 2 girls 300-meter hurdles final at the Arizona Interscholastic Association State Championships at Mesa Community College. Dickerson eclipsed the 2012 record of 42.01 set by Canyon del Oro's Jaide Stepter. Dickerson also won the high jump with a 5-5 clearance, along with taking second in the 100 hurdles in 14.19 and runner-up in the 200 in 24.23.
